Mission

Our Mission

GPL’s central purpose is mentorship within a network of research labs. Students engage intensively with faculty and with each other, gaining a deeper understanding of the intricate and complex problems facing global politics. As students learn about various countries and regions, both through academic study and international field studies, they are able to approach solutions with a Christ-focused perspective.

GPL is housed in the Political Science Department at Brigham Young University and includes scholars from Political Science, Economics, and from the Graduate Program for Public Policy.
